We had a fabulous Drop Everything Read day on Friday to celebrate Champions Read for Book Week as well as the National Year of Reading…

There were lots of students wearing comfortable pyjamas ready to read and share their favourite books.  There were also Reading Champions  flashing their medals and trophies as well as Super Reading Heroes inspiring us to read! One family even joined in the day by sending photos of themselves wearing their pyjamas on their holiday at the snow!

Classes read and shared their favourite books, participated in art activities with the short-listed Picture Books, watched our Champions Read Challenge videos, made Book Monster bookmarks, sang “We Will Read It”  and the lucky Preps read with their Year 6 Buddies.
