A trip down memory lane…

At the beginning of this year I was really disappointed to discover that quite a number of our PhotoPeach slideshows were lost when they updated their servers.  I’ve managed to put some of them back together again…

  1. Dear Ms Y,

I am so glad that you found the videos of the kangaroo on top yard. It was really fun watching him hop around top yard. It was sad to see the LRC had been damaged that badly. I hope Hugless Douglas had a good time at your house. As I say again I am glad you found these videos of when we were in different grades!!!

  2. Hi Hannah

    Thanks for your comment.

I was relieved to find I had kept the photos for the slideshows on my computer at home and the holidays gave me the time to do the slideshows again.

It was an exciting day when the kangaroo arrived on Top yard and I’m so glad we have a way of remembering the day again.

Hugless Douglas enjoyed sitting in the sun and relaxing on my deck. I think he might secretly like to come back for another visit when summer returns!

I’m so glad our LRC has recovered from our flood and I hope it never happens again…

    Miss Y 😀

  3. Dear Miss Y,

I am so happy to read that you somehow found these photos. It’s really is awful when you lose photos and they can’t be replaced.

You had a kangaroo in your school yard now that would have been one strange sight. Am so glad that the kangaroo was okay in the end.

Viewing the state of the library I still am amazed at just how much damage was done. Now looking back on it I bet you wonder how did you ever get it back to the new library you have now, but you have and well done to everyone that helped.

Hope you have had a super start to term three Miss Y along with your students too.

    Take care,
    AA 🙂

  4. Hi AA

It’s always lovely to hear from you!

I was so glad when I found I had kept the photos so I could fix up the missing slideshows. It has been great to show these to our Grade Prep and One students so they now know some of our “school stories”.

We are so lucky that the flood damage could be fixed and I’m slowly building up the books in the S-Z sections where lots of books were damaged.

Have a great Term 3 with BB

    Miss Y 🙂
