2ED Wimpy Kid Club
The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series has its own fan club in Grade 2ED. A group of students have formed their own Wimpy Kid Club. They regularly come to the LRC on Whisper Wednesday to draw characters from the series and talk about their favourite parts of the books.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid interview with Jeff Kinney
Here in Australia we have begun our Term 3 school holidays and that means the long wait for The Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie is nearly over! In this video interview it is interesting to see how involved Jeff Kinney was in the making of the movie. Jeff said
” I felt protective of my work so I didn’t want to make a movie unless it was made the right way.”
Jeff was very involved with the movie to ensure the book translated to the movie. He collaborated by helping with the casting, the screen play and was on the set to help with ideas for the scenes.
