Summer holidays are the perfect time to relax and READ! 

You can register online for the Summer Reading Club OR at your local library branch. Collect your reading kit and then all you have to do is read!

In the reading kit, there is a Mammoth Book of Challenges which contains a Reading Record. When it is full just return it to the library, grab a new Reading Record sheet and keep reading.  As you read, you can collect stickers, swap cards and flying disks. You will go into the draw to win great prizes including a zoo membership, book vouchers and games.
The grand prize is a Zoos Victoria Roar and Snore: overnight stay at the zoo for a family of four.

You can also participate in lots of fun FREE activities at your local library including craft, movies, NGV Kids on Tour, robotics and lots more. Click HERE to download the program so you can sign up for the activities you like!

Are you going to join the Summer Reading Club at the Yarra Plenty Regional Library?  This year’s theme is “Have Book Will Travel”

If you are 3-12 years old you can join in the Summer Reading Club fun from December 1st, 2013 – February 1st, 2014.

Sign up at any Yarra Plenty Regional Library branch OR online from Sunday 1 December 2013, grab a passport and reading kit and get reading. Click HERE for further details including Summer Reading Club activities and events over the holidays.

Read at least 10 books and you can go in the draw to WIN fabulous prizes including the major prize an iPad3. Collect badges, bookmarks and stickers with every reading sheet completed.
