After two years waiting for our new LRC to be built we have now moved into our new home. Â Our new BER building we be officially opened tomorrow, November 10th.
It has definitely been worth the wait….

We are finally in! A big thank to Miss Y because of all her hard work in moving the LRC. After a two long years wait we have the Library, the LAB and the Grade Sixes finally get their classrooms!!

What an impressive new building! The bright colours stand out beautifully! We love your new learning space. We learnt what a foyer was and were excited by the returns chute! Libraries are such a cave of learning and we love going to ours.

We are very excited about our new learning space in the LRC! We have so much space now.
Our foyer is only little but it will be a great little spot to sit and look at books. We only use the Returns chute for before and after school borrowing when people return their own books. We don’t use it for class book returns because we borrow too many books to post through the hole!!

It is so exciting to have such a beautiful new learning space. I just love all the space for all our wonderful books! My favourite place would have to be the beautiful corner where the sun shines through the glass. It is relaxing sitting on a cushion with a great read!

I have lots of favourite things in the new LRC!
I love walking into the new LRC first thing in the morning because the LRC is a really calm space. The sunlight that streams through the windows is a favourite too. I also like to have a little quiet sit in the Story Chair when I get the chance…
